We are currently hiring for a Full-Time (0.9 FTE) Registered Nurse with at the Children's Cardiology Clinic located in Boise and Meridian!
 
What You Can Expect:
 
As a vital member of the Children’s Cardiology team, the RN will work side-by-side with pediatric Electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This role includes participating in nurse visits, supporting cardiac device checks, managing medications, and providing meaningful education to patients and families.
 
The RN will take an active role in cardiac device remote monitoring and in-office device evaluations, perform ECGs, and place heart monitors as needed. Daily work also includes triaging patient symptoms via phone and MyChart, assessing findings, and ensuring clear, timely communication with providers and families.
 
RN will support Boise and Meridian locations.
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30pm. Off one variable weekday every 2 weeks. No weekends/holidays!
 
 
Qualifications:

 <li>Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree</li>
 <li>Experience: 1 years' experience</li>
 <li>Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:

 <li>Obtain cardiac device remote moniotoring specialist certification within 12 months of hire.</li>

Average Daily Census on the unit is 28, with a blend of cardiac surgical and medical diagnoses. The Heart Center cares for patients with congenital and acute heart disease of any age based on care needs. Common procedures associated with this unit's care include cardiac surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices, Heart Transplant, cardiac catheterization, and all medical diagnoses associated with cardiac care for the children in South Carolina. In addition to ventilatory and cardiac support, the unit provides ECMO/CRRT and additional complex supportive therapies. Pediatric palliative care is available as needed.
