<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring an active IL RN license and the ability to scrub and circulate.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in the Pediatric OR unit of a children's hospital</li><li>Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM</li><li>13-week contract assignment</li><li>On-call requirements include nights and weekends, 6-12 hour shifts approximately once every six weeks</li><li>Must be able to scrub and circulate</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active IL RN license in hand required</li><li>Level 1 Trauma experience required</li><li>Pediatric OR experience preferred</li><li>Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be accepted</li><li>Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide surgical nursing care in a pediatric operating room setting within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital</li><li>Perform scrubbing and circulating duties as needed</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation covering nights and weekends</li><li>RTO limited to no more than 3 days, with no time off requests accepted during the first or last week of the contract</li><li>Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate</li><li>Former staff from this health system must have a 7-month break in employment before returning as a traveler</li><li>First-time travelers may be considered for this role</li></ul>
