<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 29, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Interventional Radiology position in Kenosha, WI at a Level IV Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of IR experience and active WI or compact RN licensure.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work setting is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 2 IR suites in Kenosha, WI</li><li>Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients; no neuro IR cases</li><li>Required procedures include paras/thoras, biopsies (bone, thyroid, liver, renal), abscess drainage, upper/lower extremity angiograms, fistulograms, G-tube placements/exchanges, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, trialysis catheters/central lines, ports, and IVC filters</li><li>Preferred procedure experience includes Y90s and TIPS</li><li>Staff will assist with ultrasound-guided cases and CT as needed</li><li>Minimum case team consists of 1 RN, 1 Tech, and a Radiologist/PA/APC; higher acuity cases typically include an additional RN or RT</li><li>EMR: Epic (experience preferred)</li><li>Cath Lab and IR are separate departments</li><li>Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with rotating start times of 0700–1530 or 0800–1630</li><li>On-call rotation includes 1 weekend per 4-week schedule (EOS Friday through Monday at 0700) and 1 weekday call shift per week (1630–0700)</li><li>On the call team's scheduled day, 1 RN and 1 Tech work the late shift (0800–1630) and serve as the call team</li><li>Weekend rotation is on-call basis only; no routine weekend shifts</li><li>Holiday coverage required on an every-other basis, on-call only (1 per contract)</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI or compact RN license required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of IR experience required</li><li>Must be proficient in administering conscious/moderate sedation (no propofol) and other IV medications</li><li>Must be comfortable circulating IR cases</li><li>At least 12 months of core IR experience with most recent experience within the last year</li><li>1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN collected within the last year required for consideration</li><li>Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration</li><li>Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration</li><li>Former employees of Advocate Health or any subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Fully staffed department model includes 4 RNs, 4 Techs, Radiologist, RT, Hospitalist, Rapid Response/Code Team, and a Lead Tech who manages the daily schedule and lab operations</li><li>Orientation is 3 days, with the possibility of a few additional days if needed; buddy call is included during orientation</li><li>Scrubs are provided; candidates may keep shoes in the locker room or wear shoe covers over outside footwear</li><li>Free parking available on-site</li><li>RTO requests must be approved by the manager</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restrictions apply</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
