Pros
Some units are well-staffed. The forensic units are for stable patients, so there aren't as many behaviors related to unstable disorders.
Cons
It was difficult to find a place to park my camper. Although there are many camping sites nearby, they are for short-term only and that is as expensive as getting a hotel. Short-term apartment rentals are not available in the area. The apartments in the area have a long wait list. There are houses in Raleigh and Durham that offer short-term bedroom rentals, but you have no way of knowing who you are sharing your home with, so for a female that is a bit scary.
