<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Apr 13, 2026</li><li>Length: 14 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3>American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a 14-week night shift assignment.<h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Acute care hospital MRI department setting</li><li>Adult and geriatric patient population</li><li>Procedures include diffusion imaging (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing (apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and perfusion imaging</li><li>Systems in use include Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba</li><li>4x10 hour night shifts, 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed</li><li>On-call requirements apply</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience</li><li>Current BLS and ARRT certification required</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Proficiency with diffusion imaging, gradient echo, MPR, image post-processing, and perfusion imaging</li><li>Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and/or Toshiba MRI systems preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers are accepted for this position</li><li>Pewter gray scrubs required</li><li>RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment</li><li>If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two and may request one holiday off for approval</li><li>Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day</li><li>Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler</li><li>Local candidates are accepted for this position</li><li>Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted</li><li>No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted — the posted shift is firm</li></ul>

Job Details:
• Work Monday through Thursday schedule 
• Every other weekend required unless specified elsewhere 
• Call requirements apply 
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed 
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population 
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT 
• Minimum 1 year experience required (1st timers accepted) 
• Must wear pewter gray scrubs 
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens &amp; Toshiba systems 
• Perform MRI imaging including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging 
• Complete image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction 
• Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and perfusion studies 
• Handle adult acute care and outpatient procedures 
• Perform imaging of abdomen, breast, chest, brain, face/soft tissue neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic areas 
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols 
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed 
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period 
• Full compliance required to start on time
