3 nurses recommend working here
Pros
Friendly staff but the good ones won’t stay
Cons
Everything else. They overwork nurses and have too much call! They can keep permanent staff because of the call and the policy and procedures are always not followed and inadequate. Not a safe work environment. Be careful with consents surgeons don’t care and are rude and management is incapable of understanding because they don’t work all the hours and call. They only have per diem staff because they don’t have to take call that should tell you something. They say they have two people for overnight call but they don’t call them in on time so you end up staying. They don’t make them actually report to work.
Pros
Easy cases
Cons
If I could do 0 stars I would. Too much call, not traveler friendly—- will work you to death bc we make more, no structure or management, racist, VERY POOR communication especially during on call, unsafe for pts and staff
Pros
None
Cons
Racist facility and will retaliate against you if you stand up for yourself, too much call, and terrible work environment.
