<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week day shift position requiring CRT/RRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with on-call responsibilities.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics unit setting</li><li>Adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patient populations</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:3</li><li>Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM</li><li>Flexible scheduling of 3-4 days per week</li><li>On-call shifts of 2-4 per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM</li><li>Weekend work required</li><li>Floating within scope required to meet facility needs</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Current CRT or RRT certification (license required if applicable)</li><li>Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in respiratory therapy</li><li>Experience with ventilator management including BiPAP and CPAP</li><li>Skilled in airway management including intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care</li><li>Experience drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs)</li><li>Experience with medication delivery systems including aerosol setups and nebulizers</li><li>Any charting system experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide respiratory care to adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patients</li><li>Perform pulmonary hygiene, suctioning, and airway management procedures</li><li>Administer medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, Pulmicort, and Racemic epinephrine</li><li>Manage patients with ARDS, aspiration, and pneumonia</li><li>Perform arterial punctures and basic EKG monitoring</li><li>Troubleshoot ventilator high pressure alarms</li><li>First-time travelers accepted</li><li>No RTO restrictions</li></ul>
