Will float you sometimes 1-2 x per shift. Main hospital and staff is awesome, med surg 2E/W, 3E/W does not train you and will expect you to do everything staff does and sometimes will never break you. 🫠 if you can secure an ICU/ STEPDOWN only assignment, TAKE IT. 👍🏽 otherwise, be ready to work hard, frequently float, and be expected to chart with absolutely no approved OT.

Permanent staff treats you absolutely terrible and they don’t even know how to be good at their jobs in the first place. Scary work environment. No support

<h3>Job Description</h3><p>As a labor and delivery nurse (RN L&amp;D), you will care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth. This includes coaching women throughout the birthing process, monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals, administering medication and managing potential complications that may arise. You may also be called upon to assist in caesarian sections.
