<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a NY RN license in hand, at least 3 years of OR experience, and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Hospital-based Operating Room setting</li><li>Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (9:00–21:00)</li><li>Candidates must be well-rounded and able to cover all areas and patient diagnoses — single-specialty candidates will not be considered</li><li>Required case experience includes: Bariatrics, Vascular, ENT, Endoscopic Procedures, General Surgery, Gynecology, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, and Urology</li><li>Additional required procedural experience includes: Emergency management, Cell Saver, administration of blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, and Universal Protocol (time out)</li><li>Ambulatory OR and General OR setting experience required</li><li>4 call shifts (24-hour) required per 13-week contract</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred</li><li>Scrub experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active NY RN license must be in hand at time of consideration</li><li>Current BLS certification required</li><li>Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required</li><li>Broad, multi-specialty OR experience required — single-specialty backgrounds will not be accepted</li><li>Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Scrubs are provided</li><li>Block scheduling cannot be accommodated</li><li>Maximum of 5 RTO days for the duration of the contract</li><li>Candidates who have been employed at any Guthrie facility within the past year are not eligible</li><li>First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 3 or more years of OR experience</li></ul>
