<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a resource float pool campus in Gaffney, SC, with potential floating to the main campus and on-call requirements.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a resource float pool — primarily based at one campus but may float to other units or campuses as needed</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:6</li><li>Night shift schedule (7p–7a, 3x12s); 48-hour weeks also available</li><li>Weekends required on an as-needed basis</li><li>On-call required: 2 on-call shifts OR 2 additional shifts per 6-week period</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred but not required</li><li>Block scheduling is not available for this position</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active SC or Compact RN license required; pending license will be accepted but must be obtained prior to start</li><li>Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)</li><li>Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required; 2 years preferred</li><li>2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration</li><li>Must be able to pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia test and a Medication test on the first day of orientation (one attempt allowed)</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li><li>Must be able to pass an onsite fit test; shaving may be required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>This is a resource float pool position — RN will know their scheduled campus in advance</li><li>May float to other units across multiple campuses within scope of practice</li><li>Holiday on-call coverage is required</li><li>Facility has an attendance policy: missing more than 2 shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation</li><li>All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests made after submission will not be considered</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
