Poorly managed. With the exception of the newer Geri and one detox unit, the place is outdated and dirty. People show up late and call out often. The adolescent units are out of control and all they do is IM kids with behavior issues - no therapy or counseling at all. Staff have been assaulted on the adolescent units multiple times and there are no consequences for the behaviors, other than IMs. The paper charting is ridiculous and antiquated; there is NO EHR. They’re still using paper MAR, also and the docs orders are handwritten and hard to decipher. Nurses are still “taking off orders.” RNs write ALL the nursing notes (even if there’s 23 patients) and do all the admissions and discharges; LPNs are only allowed to pass meds. Every unit is usually staffed with just one RN so you’re doing everything. It’s disorganized on most of the units (except Geri and detox) and chaotic. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough!
