Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – North CarolinaStart Date: June 17, 2026 (subject to change based on orientation scheduling)Location: Wilmington, North CarolinaCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Weekend shift, 2x16-hour shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6:30 AM – 11:00 PM). No call required. Floating to affiliate locations as needed based on census.Highlights:<ul><li>Comprehensive MRI experience across multiple anatomical areas including neuro, musculoskeletal, body, and vascular imaging</li><li>Work with GE and Siemens equipment in a modern imaging environment</li><li>Epic charting system with PACS integration</li><li>12 hours of unit orientation following hospital orientation week</li><li>Patient populations include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with average daily census of 16</li><li>Opportunities for advanced imaging techniques including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and specialized post-processing</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>ARRT-MRI certification required</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of MRI experience</li><li>Epic charting experience required</li><li>Competency in adult outpatient MRI, ER/trauma imaging, and multiple anatomical specialties</li><li>Skills in IV starts, contrast administration, and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Experience with various MRI sequences and techniques: T1/T2 weighted images, gradient echo, spin echo, diffusion imaging, and image post-processing</li><li>North Carolina or Compact state license required at start (pending acceptable for submission)</li><li>Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)</li><li>Willingness to float to affiliate locations and participate in storm/hurricane team assignments as needed</li></ul>Why It's a Great Opportunity:This weekend position offers work-life balance while providing diverse MRI experience across a wide range of anatomical areas and advanced imaging techniques.
