Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of care. Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients.  Ensure medical Orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planning.  Act as a patient advocate at all times.  

Requirements:  Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training.  Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.  

Preferred Experience:  Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.  Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

JOB TITLE: OUTPATIENT THERAPIST

Responsible for providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Works with multi-disciplinary team to develop individualized plan of care.  Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.  

Requirements:  Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and relevant licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT).  State Licensure per state requirements.  CPR and CPI Certification within 30 day of employment.  

Experience: Prior work with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
