<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least one year of ED experience and AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Position is based in a hospital Emergency Department in Oklahoma City, OK</li><li>Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)</li><li>Every other weekend requirement</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — AHA-issued certifications only</li><li>Minimum of one year of nursing experience required</li><li>Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred</li><li>Proficiency in standard nursing procedures including IV therapy, medication administration, and physiological monitoring</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsible for managing an assigned group of patients, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures</li><li>Communicates care plans and discharge instructions to patients and families, and delegates tasks to support personnel as appropriate</li><li>BSN from a board-approved program is preferred</li><li>Travelers who have previously worked with this health system may re-apply after a 6-month separation period following a maximum of 26 weeks (one extension) of total contract time</li><li>Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of the offer — compliance deadlines are strictly enforced and non-negotiable</li></ul>
