I did a six months contract there and it was amazing.  Took some trips to the coast and it was beautiful.

The best place to work as a traveler. All are very welcoming of traveler.

Floated all over the hospital (I was Med-surg) and even floated to ICUs as a resource/helper and can say 99% were friendly and helpful too. Only floor that was not travel friendly was neuro (they’d hand pick the hardest assignments and let you drown, plus would go out of their way to be rude.) everywhere else was amazing and had amazing equipment and supplies. Parking was easy too.

Would gladly return

1:3 ratio, poor staffing, went multiple weeks without taking any ED patients only boarders, night shift charge nurse is ROUGH, department doesn’t know how to handle influx of psych patients. Got lunch breaks and a 15 most days. Manager changes your schedule without contacting you. Most weeks I was scheduled three in a row. Scheduled every holiday.

Long Term Acute Care

OR - Operating Room

Level II trauma center. Travelers  work all weekend every weekend with no slack in schedule or collaboration with Administration. Coworkers are open and friendly. You will stay busy all shift.   Tools/supplies are everywhere but where they are needed. Computer system is beyond slow.
