Very very busy place to work but usually very good teamwork and support. Sometimes the work load expectations are unrealistic but as long as there are support staff members to help it ends up being manageable. Overall, a nice place to work.

Pay is definitely under what it should be and majority of the time we are understaffed. If they were to fix those issues then it would be a great place to work. Management also needs to give consequences when employees are extremely unprofessional on a regular basis. There are more consequences from security for parking in the wrong place than from management when employees are ridiculous.

      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN with a current CA license, BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital</li><li>Responsible for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care</li><li>Patient ratio is 1:2</li><li>Care for a patient population with varying birth volumes from under 100 to over 300 births</li><li>Hospital is a Magnet designated, teaching institution and a Level II Trauma Center</li><li>Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00)</li><li>Work two weekends every six weeks; night shift weekends may include Fridays</li><li>No on-call responsibilities</li><li>No floating required within the scope</li><li>Uses Cerner EMR system</li><li>Provide comprehensive care throughout the labor and delivery process, including postpartum and newborn care</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Scrubs must not be camouflage or have character patterns</li><li>Free parking provided</li><li>Holiday time off is limited to one holiday per assignment; staff will most likely work holidays</li></ul>
