<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Aug 10, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery position on a 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit, with Epic experience and certifications including FHM and NRP required.<h3>Details</h3><ul><li>12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit with a Level 1 nursery staffed according to AWHONN guidelines</li><li>Patient population includes labor and delivery, mother/baby, antepartum, low-risk, and postpartum cases</li><li>Skills utilized include NST, reflex checks, external fetal heart monitoring, cardiac monitoring, fetal monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy, APGAR scoring, pain management, postpartum care, and triage</li><li>Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)</li><li>Every third weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)</li><li>Holiday coverage may be required</li><li>On-call is required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI or Compact RN license required</li><li>Current certifications required: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)</li><li>AWHONN intermediate or advanced certification preferred</li><li>Minimum 1 year of Labor &amp; Delivery RN experience required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible</li><li>2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Scrubs are provided by the facility</li><li>Travelers must be clean-shaven for N95 fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal respiratory devices are not permitted; failure to comply will result in cancellation</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li></ul>
