<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 26, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with at least 1 year of experience and required Epic charting skills for a night shift assignment on a mixed acuity unit.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Mixed acuity Med/Surg/Tele unit with MS, MS/Tele, and Tele patients</li><li>Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, sepsis, cellulitis, pneumonia, SBO, afib, NSTEMI, CVA/TIA, total joint replacement, AMS, and AKI</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:6</li><li>Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00</li><li>Uses Epic EMR</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI or compact RN license required</li><li>BLS certification required, ACLS preferred</li><li>Minimum 1 year of RN experience required</li><li>Epic charting experience required</li><li>Community hospital experience preferred</li><li>Experience with IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration</li><li>Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and oxygen administration</li><li>Experience managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and rapid response situations</li><li>Skilled in wound care, isolation precautions, and IV insulin protocols</li><li>Experience with orthopedic, cardiovascular, renal, and GI patient care as applicable</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide direct patient care across a variety of med/surg and telemetry diagnoses</li><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Candidates living within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted</li><li>Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6-month break before returning</li></ul>
