The mission of The Physicians’ Hospital in Anadarko is to provide high quality health services and facilities for the community, to promote wellness, to relieve suffering, and to restore health in a fiscally responsible manner which contributes to the physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being of the patients and communities which it serves. The Physicians’ Hospital in Anadarko originally opened in June of 1978 with financing made available mostly from the Farmer’s Home Administration. Patient rooms were furnished by private citizens who wanted quality healthcare in their community. The hospital was owned by the City of Anadarko and continued to grow and serve the healthcare needs of the community. In 2002 it was purchased by a private company. The hospital continues to grow and prides itself on providing the best healthcare possible in our rural community.
