<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 2, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience and an active IA or compact RN license.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Center for Acute Care unit within a hospital setting</li><li>Night shift, 12-hour shifts with an 1845 start time</li><li>Every third weekend required</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses</li><li>Uses EPIC EMR system</li><li>Unit manages drips including cardiac, heparin, and insulin with some titration</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required</li><li>Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele required</li><li>First-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience</li><li>EPIC EMR experience required</li><li>One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required</li><li>Not eligible if employed by the facility within the last 12 months</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team</li><li>Facility is a Level 3 trauma center</li><li>Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)</li><li>Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility</li><li>First-time travelers welcome to apply with sufficient experience</li></ul>
