<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 25, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring DaVinci robotics and multi-specialty surgical experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Operating Room setting within a hospital environment</li><li>Cases include DaVinci robotics, ortho total joints, sports medicine, spine, urology, general surgery, and endoscopy (EGD/colonoscopies)</li><li>Schedule is Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00, with flexibility required</li><li>On-call responsibilities based on department needs, currently 1-2 weekday night call shifts per week</li><li>Weekend requirement of 2 weekend days per 4-week schedule</li><li>May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI or compact RN license required</li><li>BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience required</li><li>Experience with DaVinci robotics required</li><li>Experience in ortho total joints, sports medicine, spine, urology, general surgery, and endoscopy required</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Prior travel nursing experience preferred</li><li>Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties</li><li>Holiday coverage required for Christmas Eve</li><li>First-time travelers may be considered given required specialty experience</li><li>Accepts local candidates, though a radius rule may apply that could reduce the pay rate</li><li>Radius requirements vary by facility location</li><li>Travelers should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date</li></ul>
