Job Description

A dynamic opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) awaiting qualified candidates to join a proactive overflow unit task force. This role requires a skilled nursing professional with extensive experience in a Level I Trauma and large hospital environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Float between multiple adult health units across two campuses to provide support where necessary.
• Care for patients in Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC units, adapting quickly to various settings and patient needs.
• Occasionally provide care in the Emergency Department (ED) or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for adult patients awaiting a bed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active Life Support Certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No sanctions or issues on state nursing license.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license for residency verification.

Additional Information

Candidates should be flexible regarding locations, shifts, and departments to facilitate a quicker hiring process. All weekend shift requirements and on-call obligations will be determined by the designated facility.
