Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical-Surgical nursing. This position requires a flexible and resourceful candidate who is willing to float between similar units or to sister locations as needed.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 7 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed
- One shift cancellation allowed per week
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.
Job Comments and Requirements
- Requirements include Navy scrubs.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of recent Med/Surg experience.
- Life support certifications must be obtained from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
- No hits on state license to practice are permitted.
- RTO (Request Time Off) cannot exceed 7 days and must be submitted on the cover page. No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment.
- Drivers license to verify residency is required.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
Profile Requirements
- Complete cover page specific to the requirements.
- Updated resume listing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds.
- Med/Surg skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months.
- Active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days.
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
- A copy of the driver's license must be included.
