Sterile Processing Technician Position in Worcester, MA

Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Worcester, Massachusetts, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving healthcare community. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be an integral part of our surgical services team, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Maintain and monitor sterilization equipment and supplies.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician with HSPA or CBSPD.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
