Summary
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Central Sterile Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in sterilization procedures will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in compliance with established procedures and infection control standards.
- Process specialty and general instruments, ensuring the accuracy of instrument set resets.
- Decontaminate instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Maintain stock levels in the Central Sterile Department.
- Prepare and assemble surgical trays and equipment following established tray listings.
- Communicate instrument repair needs to the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) — Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- Knowledge of case cart assembly and familiarity with regulatory standards of materials management.
- Ability to conduct tests and inspections to evaluate the quality or performance of products, services, or processes.
