Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to provide top-notch care to our young patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric and PICU nursing, with the ability to adapt to various patient needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and ongoing care needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic charting system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric or PICU nursing experience.
- Current MA nursing license (permanent).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience with trauma Level I facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
