Summary

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in Patchogue, NY. This opportunity allows you to join a top-tier clinical team in a fast-paced acute care environment, offering an excellent chance to advance your nursing career.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient-care equipment; interpret and document electronic data.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Active State RN License.
Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association.
Strong communication, assessment, and customer-service skills.
