CT Technologist Position in Newton, MA
Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a CT Technologist in the vibrant community of Newton, MA. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient care tasks; assist patients on and off the scanner.
- Verify identification prior to scan and enter patient information into the system.
- Ensure files are archived and networked properly and maintain facilities in proper order.
- Confirm correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, interview, and medical record review.
- Explain exams to patients, considering individual needs, and ensure patient compliance.
- Adjust scanners and injectors to correct settings for all exams, using appropriate equipment according to department protocol.
- Ensure exams are labeled correctly prior to transmission to PACS and adhere to all departmental and hospital policies.
- Engage in additional duties as assigned while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to departmental needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT or NMTCB (R), (T) or (N) registration required.
- Applicable state licensure(s) in Radiography and Computed Tomography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
