Description

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care in our Labor & Delivery unit. This role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform necessary procedures such as sterile speculum exams and C-sections.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively, including the use of epidurals and nitrous oxide.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any abnormalities with appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the childbirth process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with travel experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required.
- Pending Massachusetts RN license is acceptable, but must apply for a conditional license within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
