Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Administer and monitor required drips and medications such as Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido, Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, TNK, Heparin, and Insulin.
• Utilize specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Float to different units as required and provide care to all assigned patients, including those involved in SANE cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting with some pediatric experience.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including a shift from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
• Proficiency in handling common patient diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
