Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Overview

Role: Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Location: Utica, New York
Shift: Night
Hours per week: 48
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience
Travel experience is required
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
Active NY RN license and all RN licenses
NURSYS report
Skills checklist matching specialty
Driver’s license with address matching demographics
Resume including the required experience
RTO must be included at time of submission

Unit: Emergency Department
Floating is required
Scrub color: Navy Blue
Common patient diagnoses include Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, and Resp Failure
Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Patient population includes Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatric
The unit has 64 beds, including 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych
ED nurses are expected to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE

Scheduling Notes

Shift time: 6:30p-7a
Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
