Description
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our Labor & Delivery team in Farmington, CT. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal contractions, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
- Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections, when necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on postnatal care and breastfeeding techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with a focus on high-risk cases.
- Prior OB experience is required.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are mandatory.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
- Experience with the Epic EMR system is preferred.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) and every 3rd weekend.
