WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Emergency Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in  Burlington, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.

Job Function:

• Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Nights EOW.
• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions.
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation  assistance).
• Maintain  accurate  and  timely  documentation in the EMR.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• TNCC required
• PALS or ENPC required (equivalency accepted)
