Description
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Concord, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care environment.
Job Function:
- Shifts: 3x12 nights (36 hours) 7p-7a | Every other weekend, every other holiday.
- Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document. electronic data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience.
Traveler Experience: Prior travel experience is required.
State Licensure: An active Massachusetts (MA) RN license is required.
Charting System: Strong experience is highly preferred.Meditech
Required Certifications: BLS issued by either the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA).
Clinical Specializations: Must be highly proficient and strong in both telemetry and neurological patient care.
