WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced  Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Concord, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care  environment.

Job Function:

• Shifts: 2x12 Nights (24 hours) | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate,  monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document.  electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience within the specialty.

• Clinical Skill Requirements: Verifiable proficiency with IV starts is required.

• Geographic Restrictions: Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.

• Required Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIH Cert).

• Clinical Concentration: Competency caring for Medical-Surgical patients with a focus on general surgical, vascular, extensive gynecological (GYN), colorectal, and trauma populations.
