Description

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or hospital rehab setting preferred.
  • Experience using Meditech (Expanse) documentation system preferred.
  • Ability to perform patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
  • Comfort working in a unit with typical IPR gym equipment such as balance and gait systems.
  • Willingness to participate in weekend rotation as part of call requirements.

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Unit: Inpatient Rehabilitation / Rehab Unit, 2nd floor, main hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1700.
  • Patient Ratio: Approximately 7:1.
  • Typical caseload: 30-bed unit with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT/SLP/tech.
