What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current NY state license in good standing or ability to obtain prior to start. NY fingerprinting is required before starting.
• Credentials evaluation as needed by FCCPT, ICD, ICA, IERF or IEC when applicable.
• New graduates are welcome. Mentoring is available.

Minimum Requirements

• Physical Therapy degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate) from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for New York state PT license. NY fingerprinting required before start.
• Ability to provide school-based therapy services and outpatient services as part of role.
• Experience or comfort with IEP development, assessments, and documentation in educational settings preferred.
• Client-specific requirements: candidate must be able to reside in New Jersey or Staten Island area; candidates living in Brooklyn or Manhattan are not acceptable to client.
• New grad friendly; mentoring and flexible hours are provided. This is preferred, not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: School and outpatient services
• Shift Name: Days.
• Full time assignment from now until the second week of August; potential to continue for the 2026–2027 school year if mutually agreeable.
• Deliver services in both school and outpatient settings as part of duties.
• NY fingerprinting must be completed prior to start.

What You'll Do:

• Provide physical therapy in a school-based setting and deliver outpatient services as required.
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams.
• Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
