Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Recent outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience with orthopedic evaluations, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and timely documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Participation in student clinical education preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Adherence to safe patient handling procedures and clinic safety policies.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: 5x8 (five days per week, eight-hour shifts).
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Clinician responsibilities include evaluations, developing and modifying treatment plans, documentation, charge entry, and patient/family education.
• May be asked to provide discipline-specific direction and supervision for assigned patients and team members.
