Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Oncology/Telemetry

Saint Louis, MO

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Oncology patients in an acute care hospital setting
Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6 under night shift conditions
Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using EPIC electronic health records
Float within service line to meet facility staffing needs as required
Fulfill weekend shift requirements, which may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotations every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (Missouri or applicable compact license); pending Missouri license submissions accepted
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical or Oncology
Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Fire Safety certification required
Demonstrated experience with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting
ACLS certification (required prior to compliance deadline for this location)
