Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Saturday through Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Must be available to cover holidays
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school required
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer required
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Conduct basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist and follow departmental protocols
• Perform general diagnostic X-rays as needed
