RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with 3 available openings
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units
• Nurse to patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• Care for patients with DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator-dependent patients
• Work in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU setting
• Must have experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA
• RN license in state of employment or compact required
• One year of critical care experience preferred but will accept new graduates
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial onboarding
• Must complete organizational entry competency validation and Critical Care Department-specific competency validation
• Annual competency verification requirements must be maintained
• Temporary to permanent position possibility available
