RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Scheduling available as straight nights or 50/50 day/night rotation
• Work in 24-bed ICU with 46 staff members
• Patient ratios: 1:2 standard, 1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity patients (IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
• Float to PCU or serve as sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient areas
• 3 weekend shifts required within each 4-week period
• 2 years of ICU experience required, will consider 1 year of strong experience
• Must have experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills
• Perform procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
• Use EPIC documentation system
• Required certification: ACLS
• Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
• Must be outgoing team player
