Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
• Call coverage includes one day per week and one weekend per month
• Call hours are 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM the following morning
• Weekend call coverage runs from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday
• Critical care experience required
• Impella and IABP experience required
• Experience titrating drips independently required
• ACLS certification required
• RN license required
• Work with advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, and Penumbra
• Utilize Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab EMR systems
• Perform procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, drug studies, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO, stents/angioplasty, atherectomy, mechanical thrombectomy, mitral clip, temporary wires, pressure wires, VSD, and CardioMems
• Self-scheduling system for call assignments
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs provided by hospital
• No floating to other areas required
• Serve adult patient population
• Must be efficient yet easy-going with a good sense of humor

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with three cath labs, a holding area for inpatients, and a radial lounge for outpatients. The facility operates with advanced cardiac technology and maintains a full complement of specialized staff including technologists and nurses. The cardiac cath lab operates Monday through Friday with 24-hour call coverage, while the radial lounge provides extended hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, ensuring comprehensive cardiac care services for the community.
