Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery
Job Details:
• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Levinson Heart Hospital
• Unit hours of operation: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call starts at 3:00 PM when assigned
• Weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned
• Must be proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related mediastinal procedures
• Experience with thoracic surgery cases including daVinci assisted procedures
• Handle open thoracotomy, VATS procedures, ECMO initiation, and pericardial window procedures
• Perform variety of cardiac cases from CABG to valve replacement and repair of aortic dissections
• Support TAVR procedures, thoracic surgery including daVinci assisted lobectomy and wedge resections
• Assist with mediastinal lymph node biopsies and ECMO procedures
• Must have ability to take call responsibilities
• Required certification: BLS
• Hospital-provided scrubs required

Unit is semi friendly you get floated a lot in your first month of contact you all all the supplies you need. Over time is always available
Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
