RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in interventional cardiac catheterization lab with 3 cath labs and 10-11 staff per day
• Patient ratio of 3 staff per room
• Work with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Handle Impella and balloon-pump procedures
• Assist with peripheral cases and complex PCIs
• Occasional device procedures
• On-call responsibilities for some weekends and weekdays
• Must be able to report to hospital within 30 minutes of call-back
• Experience working in interventional cardiac cath lab required
• Experience in high-volume lab handling complex cases preferred
• Required certifications: RN, RCIS, RT
• Light blue scrubs provided by hospital
• Must maintain professional attitude and vital attendance
• Ideal candidate is easy-going, kind, friendly, and able to work in fast-paced, busy environment
• No floating to other areas required

Facility:

This medical center features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory located on the 3rd floor of the Levinson Building. The facility operates three state-of-the-art cath labs equipped with advanced GE X-ray/MacLab technology and utilizes Meditech EMR systems. The cardiac cath lab specializes in both diagnostic and interventional procedures, handling complex cases including PCIs, peripheral interventions, and advanced cardiac support devices. The facility maintains high standards for professional conduct and patient care delivery.
