RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Variable shift schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call requirements mandatory
• Previous OR experience required with experience in general, gynecologic, orthopedic, spine, robotic, and vascular procedures
• Day surgery experience required with 2+ years of nursing experience
• Must prepare patients for surgery
• Experience with age-specific care for adults (18-65 years), adolescents (13-17 years), and geriatric patients (>65 years)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Experience required in medical/surgical services, cardiovascular services, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric care
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Must maintain professional appearance with facility-provided scrubs
• No artificial nails permitted; tattoos should be covered when possible
• Float to other units as needed
