RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work on D2 unit - a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care for medical surgical and/or step-down patients
• Handle quick turnover short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay)
• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
• Work with telemetry equipment - all patients requiring telemetry monitoring are hardwired to bedside monitors
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Required to float to other units when needed
• Every other weekend requirement, no call required
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
• Must maintain positive attitude, focus on patient experience, and work well as a team player
