RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 5th floor medical-surgical unit with 33 beds
• Patient ratios: 6:1 during day shifts and 7:1 during night shifts
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Float to other appropriate areas when needed in rotation
• Work with equipment including IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Unit staffing includes 3 techs per shift and unit secretary on day shift
• Follow specific dress code requirements
• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
