RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PCU Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Auto-offer position available
• Work in Cardiac Transitional Care Unit with stepdown patients
• Patient ratios: 3-4:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Use standard stepdown equipment and EPIC EMR system
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire week for orientation
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Current RN license required (must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Weekend hours and call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Black scrubs required
• Must be team player with excellent communication and documentation skills
• Provide comprehensive nursing care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and central line care
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare team
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Supervise and delegate duties to unlicensed assistive personnel
