RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Variable shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours required as scheduled by facility (alternating)
• Call requirements as needed by facility
• Float to any inpatient unit as required
• Patient ratios: 4-6:1 (estimates)
• Work on 8-bed Clinical Decision Unit handling ER observation and admission patients
• Process high volume of admissions
• Coordinate, plan, direct, and implement nursing process in medical-surgical setting
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Strong Med Surg experience required; Neuro and Stroke experience highly preferred
• Current RN License (Missouri eligible or currently licensed)
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, NIH (can be completed at orientation)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA
• Black scrubs required
• Variable shift orientation on day shift with full week availability required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Must be team player, helpful, pleasant and caring towards patient outcomes
