RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length with flexible contract options available
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Patient ratio approximately 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees)
• 2+ years of Stepdown or ICU experience in acute care hospital required
• Must be competent with insulin drips, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPap
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Current RN license meeting Missouri eligibility criteria
• Must be flexible, dependable, hardworking with strong teamwork skills
• Work with IV pumps, computers, glucometer, GE monitoring equipment
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1
• Dress code requires black scrubs only
• Care for post cardiac cath patients, AFib, CHF, general medical overflow, stable MI patients, post heart caths with interventions, medical cardiac patients, and pacemaker insertions
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift
